Sometimes you've gotta take your shirt off fast, whether it's a romantic night, a quick jump in the pool, or for extinguishing someone on fire.

Most of us remove a shirt by grabbing either the bottom or collar region and pulling it up over our heads, both of which are probably unconsciously influenced by our parents tugging our shirts off when we were just tikes. I prefer grabbing from the bottom.

Both methods require two hands, but if you want to get even faster, drop your instinctual habits and start using this faster one-handed trick instead.

Step 1: Grab a Sleeve

With one hand, grab the opposite sleeve and underarm area together. Don't just grab the sleeve. It's gotta be the sleeve and section of your shirt close to your armpit.

Step 2: Pull It Over

Now pull the T-shirt over your elbow. Once your elbow is safely inside, tuck it against your body to help provide more room for the shirt to slide off without friction.

Then keep going, pulling the entire shirt over your head in one swift motion.

Step 3: Drop It

You should still have the shirt in hand after pulling it over your head. After it slides off the pulling hand, drop it to the ground.

Now, this method might not be that great if you're a bulky dude, have a tight shirt, or wear glasses, but it's now my favorite method for taking off my loose-fitting T-shirts.
