How to Dress for a Bachelorette Party

A bachelorette party, also called a hen party, is a way for a bride-to-be and her mates to celebrate together for a “last night of bachelorette”. When it comes to a bachelorette party, it requires more than a normal party. You can’t just pick anything from your wardrobe to a bachelorette party. A bachelorette night is supposed to be a lot of fun and wild party. Choosing the suitable attire is very important. How do you define the right attire? Something racy and wild.

1. Determine the theme of bachelorette party. If you want a tranquil bachelorette party, a spa weekend is a good choice. If you want to go wild, make a traditional “last night of freedom”.  Do things crazy that the bride-to-be wants to do. Famous-people hen night is a great idea if you want to liven parties up.

2. Decide the location of the bachelorette party. Your dress style is up to where you are heading and what the party activities are about.

3. Determine if you want to wear costumes with a theme, such as a High School Cheerleader, a Hot Policewoman, a Cute Nurse or even Pirates of the Caribbean. You can dress like Keira Knightly in your own pirate costume. An intimate home party is probably more interesting than a night out of the town.

4. For a sexy look, don’t forget to apply with matching accessories like horns, fairy wings, masks, fishnets, etc.

5. Dinning out to celebrate the bride-to-be. In that case, you just need to wear an evening-out dress. A chic ankle-length satin dress creates a gorgeous look. If you want a lively and youthful look, go for a knee-length cocktail dress with beading and sequins.

6. Ask the bride-to-be wear a veil indicating her as the leading actress of the bachelorette party.

7. Insist the bride-to-be to have a sash while other girls wearing a sash marking they are members of a hen party. Want something special? Some girls even make their sashes out of flashing lights to ensure everybody notice the hen night.

Tips

If you want to purchase costumes for the bachelorette party, plan far beforehand that you have enough time to decide what to choose.

Pay attention to the level of raciness. Is this OK with all the party members. Some conservative friends may not like the over-dressed members. So you need to take into account if everybody feels comfortable with it.
