Dressing a plus-sized shape can seem difficult. However, if you dress correctly for your body type, you can easily look stunning! Make sure that you determine your body type, which is all about the proportions of your body.

The first body type is the diamond shape, where most of the weight is carried in the middle, with wider hips and a smaller bust. Women with this shape should wear shoulder pads and horizontal necklines to emphasize their shoulders and draw attention away from the waist.

Next is the triangle shape. This type features full hips and thighs, a defined waistline, and smaller shoulders and bust. These women should wear light colors and wide necklines to broaden the appearance of the upper body. Next is the rectangle type. These women have no clear waistline, and small hips and bust. These women should try to emphasize their waist by wearing belts.

The oval body type has no defined waist but a prominent stomach. They have fuller bust with slender arms and legs. These women should wear skirts to show off their great legs! The hourglass shape has a defined waist but small hips and shoulders. They should wear open collars and v-necklines to accentuate curves.

The inverted triangle shape has large shoulders and bust, but smaller waists, hips and thighs. They should always wear darker colors on top and lighter colors on bottom to balance out their shape. Finally, the figure-8 body type has full hips and thighs, and a defined waist with a prominent stomach. They should wear open collars and v-necklines to draw attention to the face and bust. Make sure you always dress to your body type, and you will look amazing!
